Trust funds Molly’s Educational Trip to Germany

By applying to the Roger Edwards Educational Trust Grant, I was able to go to Germany and hugely improve my linguistic skills as well as giving me the opportunity to experience the German lifestyle and culture that I had been learning in school.

Due to the lack of Modern Foreign Language trips being presented, it had been more and more challenging to grasp this culture. I was given the opportunity to stay with a German family, visit a local German school and embrace the village traditions as well as presenting a speech in German to celebrate the Usk Twinning with Graben Neudorf.
